Colours - Newbury, England - 12th and 13th September 2009
Come along to the show and play a game of Alien Squad Leader (ASQL). Meet and speak to Alex Self creator of ASQL and get your copy of the game book. Both days of the show, go to Table J on the 1st floor next to the bar! Armies will be provided, 100 Points taken from the rulebook, but bring your own if you have one ready. Turn up to watch or to play, all are welcome.

G3 is a gaming event that happens 3 times a year in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. It's aim is to bring gamers of all persuasions together in the spirit of fun and camaraderie. There is a mix of scheduled events, tournaments, and open gaming along with a boardgame catalog of over 50 titles to check out and play. Staff is also on hand to assist the uninitiated gamer in exploring this unique and engaging pass time.

The Demo will be held on Friday night at 8:pm for 6 players and should last for three hours. The Event #14404 and the game will be held in the main Regency Foyer. Description Battle for Alpha Cignus
Deathlord Vor ' Tqu stood on the hill above the valley scanning the Human settlement for defensive capabilities, the compound looked almost defenseless. Their was a few turrets and one large orbital cannon but nothing else that would prove much of an obstacle to his warriors. Vor’ Tqu would attack the orbital gun emplacement from the air and then send in the primitives to complete his victory. These beings Vor ' Tqu could not understand, they had came and invade the mineral rich world of Alpha Cignus. But they had not come with an army to conquer the plant only their machines to harvest the purple colored Trioxide. What were they thinking, that the Tra ' vok race were weak and feeble. Did they think the Tra’vok would allow this intrusion into the Cingus system without any retaliation?
No matter what the humans thought, by the end of the two Suns all would be killed and their settlement destroyed to the last building.
Alien Squad Leader is a squad-level wargame with more emphasis placed on the abilities of the ordinary troopers- not some Heroic character.
Rules have a simple mechanics are easy to learn and are great fun.
So come on and recover your world or defend your new home against the Alien aggressors.
